was john the son of william and mary and did he marry mary wray?
john wright may be the son of william and mary grant, that remains to be seen. but he is not the spouse of mary polly wray...
polly married another john wright in 1822... when she was about 20 she married john morgan wright from nc... the find a grave memorial for her names her husband who was born in about 1800. if this polly wray had actually married the john wright in question in 1822 it would have been long after the children's births, most of whom were born before her... would a twenty something marry a seventy something? it could happen, but did it happen here?
now wait a minute dude there may have been another mary wray born in 1756??? who may have married john wright, you say mockingly. well, ok. show me the proof. have not seen any actual sources for this wife or marriage. prove its real or write it off as a myth. thats what i call homework. have found no proof of this mythical woman as of yet.
so the questions now are, who are the mothers of john wright's children and was he the son of william and mary grant???
some dna proof would prove who john's parents were of course, but until that happens lets look at the evidence. some say that william was born in fauquier county, and so was john, but actually william was born in stafford county, in the part which later became prince william county, and while both were in franklin county when they died, that hardly makes them kin. sure, william was in the militia and he definitely moved around some, but was he ever in fauquier? were any of his children born there? inquiring minds want to know... i have no doubt they were at least cousins, but were they father and son???

john wright did not marry mary polly wray
i mean someone did and his name was john. john morgan wright married mary polly wray in 1822 in crawford, indiana. he was definitely not the son of william and mary grant wright tho.
morgan wright was the husband of polly wray on her find a grave memorial and its unlikely there were two polly wrays who married john wrights.
polly was born in 1802 ohio. morgan in 1800 north carolina. john the son of william was born in 1746 va. so he was about 56 when polly was born and when she was 20 he was about 76. see where this is going? ever see a twenty something mistake an old man for her husband? well you may have but anyway...
polly did not marry the son of william...

ISIS is attacking MUHAMMAD'S FAMILY
It truly is a small world and one that is being plagued by a brother on brother crime spree... Yes, we all are related and we all have common ancestors and the wave of murders being seen in the news now is nothing but a disgrace.
Did not Muhammad himself write "[47.2] And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition."
Yet ISIS tries to claim to be doing Allah's work. I think not. We are all brothers and those who have the love of God in their hearts can have no hatred in them.
Last night, Syrian refugees attacked and killed over a hundred of their brothers and sisters on the streets of Paris, forever staining the reputation of Allah and Islam. We are family and killing your brother is sin. Islam itself should rise up and put an end to these disgraceful murderers for their own sakes and for the family.....

Twitter lists for fun and research.
RESEARCH is a priority in many things, including family history...
One good way to get all your research team together is to create a twitter list. In other words, you take a bunch of tweeps with a similar theme and create a list on Twitter so that all their tweets are displayed on the same page. This helps you find new articles and posts and tips that interest you every day and may help to further your own research in the process.
On my list FAMILY HISTORY CHANNEL you will find lots of family historians who constantly share their news and updates in the form of tweets and the tweets of other family historians they follow as well. This list is not only useful for my own research but is often times just fun to read.
Listing can be useful in many fields like genealogy, arts, crafts, news, sports, poetry, and entertainment. On my art blog is a list of #ART tweets that helps me find new artists and enjoy their work first hand. The same is true with any list, and a list is more focused on a single subject than the home page feed itself.
Once you are added to a list everyone who sees that list becomes a potential reader of your work and shares, and a potential fan and follower. Keep calm and keep tweeting!

SO my DNA results came in and Ancestry evaluated my DNA for ethnicity and my DNA was found to be 100 percent European there....
