Tombstones are not always right!
Michael O. King's tombstone says he was born in 1857 but the 1880 census said he was 32 which makes his birthday in 1848. Makes sense since their daughter Emma was born in 1868 when Mike would have been 9 at the time had he been born in 57. Also, his wife, Louisa's tombstone says she was born in 1862 which means she would have been 6 at the time Emma was born.
So you see, documents and tombstones are not always right. Don't trust the numbers 100%, because they just might be way off.
